Germany based solar developer ib vogt,  has secured an order for a cluster of 48 projects as part of Pt PLN (Persero)’s Diesel Replacement Program in Indonesia. Nefin Group, an energy firm providing green has set a target to secure 100 megawatts (MW) of solar power projects across Southeast Asia in 2024. As per the firm, Malaysia is expected to contribute more than 30% of the total targets, driven by an increase in its market penetration and market share. Japan-based renewable energy company Vena Energy held ground-breaking ceremony for the Nakaura Wind Project, in Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. The Project is scheduled to commence construction in December 2023. Solarist Thungfai Company Limited, an indirect subsidiary of RATCH Group unit’s Saha Cogen (Chonburi) Public, signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for the development of 27-megawatt solar projects. SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP), a collaboration between Aboitiz Power Corp. and Norwegian firm Scatec, has an ambitious plan to expand its renewable energy portfolio beyond hydroelectric power. PT Barito Wind Energy (Barito Wind) and ACEN Investments HK Limited (ACEN HK) have inked sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with UPC Renewables Asia Pacific Holdings to acquire wind development assets in Indonesia.
