French energy management firm GreenYellow’s subsidiary GreenYellow Vietnam has announced the completion of a 750 kWp rooftop solar power project for Vietnam’s Dong Anh Chainsaw Joint Stock Company (Dong Anh C&F).
The firm disclosed that this project is the largest rooftop solar power project to date for GreenYellow Vietnam. Per the statement, the solar panels were installed on Dong Anh C&F’s factory rooftop in Dong Anh District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
The firm said the project is expected to generate over 1,000,000 kWh of electricity annually, saving Dong Anh C&F approximately 1 billion VND of annual electricity expenses. Financed by GreenYellow Vietnam, the project was implemented in accordance with international and Vietnamese construction standards.
Nguyen Thanh Tung, CEO of GreenYellow Vietnam, said, “The completion of this project is a significant milestone for GreenYellow Vietnam as it is the company’s largest rooftop solar power project to date. The project is also a significant milestone for Dong Anh C&F as it is the company’s first solar power project.”
