US-based Invenergy has launched Rusutsu Wind Energy Center in Japan. The Rusutsu Wind Energy Center has added to a total capacity of 63 megawatts (MW) of Rusutsu Wind Energy. Comprising 15 wind turbines, each capable of generating 4.2 MW, this project symbolizes a harmonious blend of innovation and environmental stewardship.
LocatedĀ at Rusutsu Village, situated in the Abuda District of Hokkaido Prefecture, this wind farm enjoys a strategic location southwest of Sapporo. Rusutsu’s elevation of 800 meters, is expected to help maximize energy generation capacity.
