The Future Energy Show & Solar Show Philippines, the largest energy event in the country, has begun on 15 and 16 May, 2023 at SMX Convention Center Manila. This aims to bring together the energy community that would draw a roadmap for the future of energy in the country.
Being one of the most significant events for the sector in the Philippines, the 2023 edition is reported to be the biggest edition with over 150 global and regional leading energy solution providers. The participants include CHINT Electric Global, Enphase Energy, Trigon Asset Management, Renova, Jinko Solar, Trina Solar, Longi, Sungrow, Growatt, CSI Technology, Alpha ESS, and Mibet Energy, exhibiting their best solar, renewable energy and smart energy solutions to help push the projects forward.
In addition, the show will also offer learning opportunities to more than 12,000 pre-registered attendees.This would cover topics like, large scale solar,rooftop solar,rural electrification,smart grid / T&D, energy storage and alternative renewables.However, Solar Installer University will be a brand new addition to this show.
Guest-of-Honour for the show is Rowena Cristina L. Guevara, Undersecretary from the Department of Energy .The other important topics to be discussed will be – “Achieving Energy Autonomy: Driving Renewable Energy Adoption Across the Philippines“. The speakers for the discussion will include Monalisa Dimalanta, Chairperson and CEO of Energy Regulatory Commission, Christan Ereno, AVP & Head of Visayas System Operations for National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), Rowena Cristina L. Guevara, Undersecretary of Department of Energy, A.D Villaos, President of CorEnergy;Ronnie Aperecho, Senior Vice President and Head of Networks of Meralco, and Fernando Martin Roxas,President and CEO of National Power Corporation.
